At Ausorigins, we believe in conservation. Saving our natural wilderness while we still have some to preserve. Preserving the pieces of our vast and ancient land, that are almost gone.

We look through areas of old growth clear fell logging, long after re growth has occurred. Searching for remnants from the past that still exist, before back burning occurs and they are lost forever.

We always seek permission from land owners before entering, searching or removing any materials we can preserve from destruction.

Native flora such as ferns used in our artworks are removed dead and with permission from private homes and gardens.

Ausorigins NEVER remove any material, plant or otherwise from National Parks, indigenous areas or private property without approval. Nor do we condone removal of material by any parties from these areas.

We believe the beauty of nature in it’s own element is for all to enjoy and appreciate.

We use environmentally friendly materials to stabilize and finish our pieces. We do not use anything, in any of our processes, that is not water based.
